Christmas with vampire
The vampire’s eyes opened, with a cold steely stare
Night has fallen, he had to prepare
He put on his cloak, all sleek and black
And brushed his teeth to get rid of the plaque

He opened a window, to view all the night
He was fiercely hungry, and ready for a fight
His was a quiver, with the smells all around
Then he jumped out of the window and landed on the ground

Young Rachael was walking, on her way home
She liked the night, and would often roam
Her boyfriend, Kyle, had kissed her goodnight
She was happy and joyous, her thoughts all alight

Her mind was racing through thoughts so afar
Of marriage, children, and owning a car
She knew Kyle was good and would never stray
Little did she know she may never see day

The vampire weaved through gardens, and into the night
He was very careful, and stayed out of the light
He suddenly smelled blood, all warm and sticky
He knew things would soon start to get icky

Young Rachael he spied, who was walking alone
‘This foolish girl, she will never make it home!’
His eyes burned, as her scent grew stronger
He could contain himself no longer

Rachael’s mind was deciding her final career
When all of a sudden a black shadow, did appear
Rachael was stunned, and taken aback
She had never seen a creature so purely black

Now the element of surprise was finally his
He just had to stop her asking the ‘Who are you?’ quiz
The cape he did drop, and gave her a cold stare
Rachael was now frozen, going nowhere

Then a lone figure did drop from the sky
He was round, bearded, and liked the occasional mince pie
His outfit was bright, shiny and red
He would not let Rachael become the undead

‘Hold your hand beast!’ The arrival did cry
‘I will send you back to hell, do want to know why?
This girl is pure of heart, and totally good’
And with that he punched the vampire, with an almighty thud

The vampire fell back, and Rachael dropped to the ground
She could move again, and looked all around
She saw the vampire, all black and slick
And watched him squaring up to St Nick

The vampire was outraged, as his meal was at an end
‘I’ll get you old man, and your spine I will bend!’
St Nick did laugh, his face round and pleasant
‘I’ll kick your arse!’ he cried, and whipped out a present

The present he unwrapped, and revealed a stake
The vampire, scared now, started to quake
St Nick thrust the stake into the vampire’s heart
The vampire’s skin did crackle, and he fell apart

St Nick helped up Rachael, and dusted her down
Then a sleigh with reindeer did land on the ground
St Nick cried out, as he set off in flight
‘Happy Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!’
