a traumatic experience in my life
It was a cold dead night
It was 3 a.m.
She was a Girl unstrung
She could always play that one

Took a Ride in A chevy caprice
The demons on the side of the road
Were laughing at me
It was 3 a.m.

She shut off her mind
It should've been different this time
Comedy can be difficult with tape across
Your mouth

It was 3 a.m.
She was a Girl unstrung
I could always play that one

His Breath made her cry
His hands on her shoulders
Made her cry
His Intentions Made her cry

She wore a Blue dress like the SKY
At 3 a.m.
Does that make it O.K?

Reality paid a visit
On that Surreal morning
His eyes tracking her every move
When she escaped
Shoes In hand
His breath was going to choke her to death
Watch your Little
Black Sheep run
She knew she had sold out
At 3 a.m. On a Saturday

She walked towards the Sun
Tears don't mean much
She's cried before
NO one would answer the DOOR
She wanted to run to the Sun
She wanted to feel CLEAN

I took A ride in A chevy caprice
I lost my dress
I lost my LIGHT
On the side of the ROAD
It was 3 a.m.
Just a girl Unstrung
I knew I had sold out
"Fuck this, I said, I"m no cop-out"
I knew I had sold out at
3 a.m. On A Saturday
