An humanoid being with strange characteristics. What do you think he is?
Life by day,
Death by night
Hated today,
Loved by tonight

One for the good,
another too the bad
Forever to be misunderstood,
and ever so mad

Maybe an angel from above
maybe a demon from the deep
maybe of love,
or maybe an odd black sheep

Who is to know
what he must be
Soon he will bestow
the answer to me

I wish to learn how
God made him this way
But maybe even now
he might truly obey

Perhaps it was not
the same God I know
But by some other plot
he came with a woe

Once again I tell you
I do not know
But you may witness him too
as I did so long ago

As I look upon him
with wide open eyes
as with tears my eyes brimmed
As he flew to the skies

In the last glimpse a caught
I saw one angelic wing
and something I thought
was the other black thing
