A teenage girl struggles to follow her great sister's footsteps.
"Darn it!"
My finger pricked on the tip of the needle. Once again, my whole spell was ruined AGAIN. On the other hand, my sister had performed perfectly. She turned the cauldron into a small toad. I scowled at her.
"Amy, if only you weren't so clumsy, you could make a decent witch."
"Thanks a lot, sis. Your advice was so positive."
She ignored my comment and smiled.
"You're very welcome. I'm so glad that I give such good help."
I rolled my eyes. If Bri wasn't so perfect, I would at least have a chance to prove myself. Cursing lightly, I struggled to push the needle into the loop. The cauldron was placed on my left and was brewing slightly.
"Amy, be careful with the cauldron. It could spill easily if you don't-"
Before she could finish, the brew was boiling furiously until it exploded. Green slime covered my whole face and my clothes. And still, the needle was still in my hand.
"Oops", I meekly whispered.
Bri glared at me.
"That's clearly what happens when a clumsy witch doesn't listen to direction."
With a wave of her hand, the cauldron and spilled slime were put back in place and cleaned up. I stared in amazement.
"Well, if you weren't blabbing the whole time to me, I wouldn't have spilled the dumb slime. Now, if you please, I must leave the room before I can clumsily turn someone into a toad."
