Youth is a leaf,
That develops on the boughs,
Of an adult tree.
There it is nurtured.
There it gains its color.
When the winds of freedom come,
However, the leaves fly.
They dance through a society of trees,
Each leaf a different shape,
Each a different color.
Then, when the winds cease,
All leaves lay down together,
Undiscriminating and natural,
Enriching the ground, society,
And the world itself.
