Somewhere in the Darkness
I know there's a candle burning bright.
And someday soon I will find it
The one that is meant to be my light.

Will I be alone?
Will someone else be there too?
And will it let me know,
There is someone that cares about me,
No matter where I go?

Until this day comes,
I will keep searching for that certain someone,
That will let me have the light I need for life.

Somewhere in the Darkness,
On my way toward my light,
I stumbled and I fell.
Now I don't know if I have the patience,
or the courage to go on searching anymore.

There was once when I thought I had found it,
but it turned out to be one great lie.
Bright enough to confuse, but then die.

Someday I'm sure I will find it.
Then maybe I won't just be,
Somewhere in the Darkness,
and my soul will be set free.
