"Mommy, Mommy?" Billy whispered, "Mommmmy? Is it time to get up yet?"

"Wha....,spzzk, huh?" Came the muffled reply from under the blanket. "Billy? What is it Billy? What are you doing out of bed at this hour?"

"Is it time to get up for school yet?"

"What, huh? Good Lord, what time is it? Holy Cra..., uh no honey, it's still dark outside, see? Go look out the window, it's only 3:30 sweety, you still got a long time to sleep. Run back to bed dear and Mommy will come and wake you up in plenty of time."

"But Mommy, I don't want to be late for school!"

"Billy sweety, I told you, go look out the window, it's still dark night outside. You have to go back to bed and rest for awhile longer. When the alarm rings, Mommy and Daddy will get up and wake you up and we'll have a nice breakfast and you can put on your new clothes and we'll all go down to the school in plenty of time."

"Mommy, I'm not sleepy anymore, I want some breakfast, I'm hungry. Mommmy Mommmmy!"

"For Go...., ohhhh Lord, please give me the strength!"

Okay Billy, arghhhh.... give me a second, sweety. Mommy will give you a nice glass of milk and go with you back to your room and rest with you for a minute, but then.. for crimeny sake, you are going to have to rest for a little longer and let Mommy rest for a little while longer. Okay?"

"Can I have a bowl of Cap'n Crunch? I'm hungry."

"Honey, you can have a glass of nice warm milk. I wonder if Daddy has any of his special after dinner drink...No sweety, you can have a nice glass of milk and a rest like I said, then in a little...long while, it will be time for breakfast and getting dressed and we will even have all of the Captain Crunch you want, but you have to let Mommy rest before then or she will look like Aunt Mildred tomorrow!"

"Hahaha, Mommy, that's funny! Aunt Mildred is an old lady with funny blue hair and wrinkly skin!"

"Yes dear, I know what Aunt Mildred looks like. Okay, come on, where is my bathrobe? Good Lord, it's as dark as the inside of a Halloween cat! Let's go have some milk and a rest."

"Okay Mommy. Mommy? Can I take my Hot Wheels cars to school?"

"No sweety, I don't think so. I think school is for books and coloring crayons and paste. No Hot Wheels tracks or cars."

"Billy? Billy, where the heck are you?"

"MMMahhhamm ZZZZZzzzzzzzzz"

"Billy? Billy? Just what the heck are you doing in bed with Daddy? Get the heck out of there and run along back to your own bed young man!"

"Ummmhuh, Zzzzzzzzzzz"

"Billy James Johnson, wake up. It's time for breakfast and to get ready for school!"

"I'mmm tired Mommy, can I sleep a little longer?"

"Oh for crying out loud! Scoot over, you little scamp!"
