This poem is about a friend
I'm Sorry

I'm sorry I didn't tell you.
I'm sorry that I lied.
I'm sorry that my feelings,
I kept bottled up inside.
So many friendships lost,
for when I told of my heart.
So I thought that if I lied,
it wouldn't be torn apart.
I should have grabbed your hand,
before you walked out the door.
And looked into your eyes;
it would have melted your core.
But I didn't, I just stood there,
watched you walk away.
And if I could see you now,
there are so many things I would say.
I wish I could have a 're-do'.
Do it over, change the past.
But there's no way I can.
This feeling of guilt will always last.
