Begin with desperation
devoted to a cool, liquid vow
of drowning all desire.
Drenched in sweat,
sit.
No doubt such small mind
shapes this duel
of aspiration and inspiration.
Dwelling in the space
between breaths
begin with desperation.

dwelling in the space
of aspiration and inspiration
shapes this duel.
