you know who you are
what's left to do when sorry won't ease the sorrow
and you pray for today not to wake up tommorrow
you cry looking back on the pain that was caused
as you strike back with anger lashing out with your claws
too quickly it seems that the hatred has died
so you try to remeber the suffering and lies
and you try to dispise but your heart keeps glowing
so you scratch at yourself to keep others from knowing
as you sit in confusion with your back on the wall
confused about promises made that he'll never let you fall
you feel the clock has'nt ticked long enough
but your heart and soul say that their strong enough
you stand side by side holding hands with the meek
as you hide behind shields so you're not seen as weak
trying not to think back with love filled emotions
as you stand on tip toes but drown in the ocean
broken hearts, love, and trust
are unwillingly ressurected from utopian dust
the painful memories you try not to forget
because you're too scared of trying, afraid your soul will get ripped
but the one whos heart with yours were once saved
says theres no need for fear now so don't be afraid
you will no longer be imprisoned or in pain as my slave
i give you my undying love, you'll take my heart to your grave
