Non-rhyming poetry on the depressing side...
Wood rubs against my cheek.
Now I have a splinter.
My cross drags behind me,
A sad dirt trail.
No, I can manage it.
I can manage it.

(My knees are pulled up against my chest
Sitting in the shower
Water rolls off my body
Tears flow down the drain)

My cross feels so much heavier
Now that I'm on it.
