The cold night freezes his soul.
His burden gains weight.
The balance between night and day.
The cold air freezes his breath.

The jester laughs.
Like steel wool on teeth.
The ripping, piercing cry.
That froze his soul

The anguish of the court.
The frightful gavel deals judgment.
The jesters laugh silenced.
The cold air fades away...
