This is a collection of my poetry
Dedicated to my first crush, Kari.

When I saw your eyes for the first time, I saw a lonely pool of green, a place where you were alone.
When I saw your face for the first time, I saw a spark of love in my mind, coming from the flint and stone of you and me.
When I first heard your voice, I heard the singing of an angel, emanating from the harp of your lips.
When I touched you for the first time, I felt a surface that made silk and velvet feel feel like a rock, a rock from the deepest part of the Earth.
Any first time from you was an experience worthy of heaven, a great adventure that paled all others. One day I hope that I am worthy of a goddess.

Alone is about a cruise where I made friends, and now I will never see them again.

I found friends, I found a girl, I met a few but not all.
I will never regret the ones I met because those are the ones I said goodbye.
The ones I did not meet I left behind with no farewell.
I will never see them again, never to know their smiles again.
And now I am alone. I now say my goodbyes to all, for the last time.

Trust is about how I know a girl is for me.

Trust is when I see a face, and know it holds no harm.
Trust is when I hear a voice, and know it has no teeth.
Trust is how I know who to be with, for without trust, body and mind mean nothing.
When looking for a girl to be your wife, look at her face.
Trust is what you see in the right girl's eyes.
Louisa, I trust you.

I cant remember where this one came from, but its about war.

Bye Bye Blue Sky, farewell to pleasant sights
Goodbye to my friends, goodbye to my family
The Luftwaffe is upon us, the dirigibles darkening the clouds
Marine creatures pour from the seas, Mimi plays with them
Bye Bye Blue Sky, So long to all my friends
Cruise ships turn to war, floating hulks destroy
Blood and Guts rule the battlefield, Hiwojima lays defeated
So Bye Bye Blue Skies, I hope to see you again
The monstrous war is here, a wall between humanity and happiness
I see my house in the rubble, my friend pinned beneath
I see my brother crying on a grave, our grandfather in the ground
I see my father in the sky, his buddies flying with him
I see another bomb in the sky, to another part of town
I see the recruiter coming for me, wanting me to defend my homeland
So I say goodbye to my friends, and my family
Bye Bye Blue Sky
