My sister inpires me every day. This is for her.
Sheila

She is my sister, my friend, my hero.

8 years ago her life changed completely
Tragedy struck and Noel was gone.
How do you go on after such sorrow and pain?
Can you get out of bed? Can you face the dawn?
Maybe, if you can’t sleep all night,
Because sleep means dreams and nightmares;
Maybe, if you can’t drag yourself out of bed,
Who cares if you get up, you are now alone.
Sheila, she did have days like these,
I am sure she sometimes still does.
But she mourned her loss, she misses her son.
And yet her life goes on.
Every day she gets out of bed,
She faces her life head on.
It may be slowly, one day at a time,
She smiles, she works, she survives.
Noel is alive in her heart, in her life.
Looking down on her with pride,
From the place he has gone to be with the Lord
With the people who have gone before.
This knowledge gives her comfort and eases her heavy heart
She is able to go on each day
Knowing she will be with him in the end.

She is my hero, my sister, my friend.
