Drift off, into the dark,
Drift away, leaving no mark,
Drift far, an uncountable distance,
Drift silently, exposing no existence,
Drift slow, having a last linger,
Drift hesitantly, caressing my finger,
Drift in sorrow, refusing to leave,
Drift now, let go of my sleeve,
Drift today, as happy as can be,
For tomorrow, you drift back to me.
