A single snowball attack on two lovers.
As I walked across the town bridge ad bell rang out the hour of six o'clock. I stopped to look out over the river in the direction from which it flowed and felt a winter calm surround me as I stood. Snow flakes silently drifted to a white bed floating on the water below and joined their friends for an evening nap. A footbridge in the distance was graced by two young lovers sharing the same moment together in a warm embrace. I could not make out their words but the warm tones they shared made it known that love was in the air.
Packing snow into little balls came second nature to me. Not really thinking about it I began the winter ritual. Gathering snow from the rail before me I formed a tight sphere and tested its weight. I knew it would do the job nicely. The two on the other bridge were in their own little world as I was in mine. Time was on my side I could see that plain as rain, but seeing them over there turned my stomach. Action must prevail. I crossed myself and prayed to the god of archers and spearchuckers "May my aim be true, swift and sure, a notch for me and a blow for you". Feeling a surge of confidence known only once before I let that baby go.
The two were lost in themselves. Lost in their own eternity. Looking into each others eyes and searching for forbidden pleasures, they were oblivious to the real world. A lightning crack of laughter broke into their sordid spell which startled one of them to turn his attention to the other bridge from where it came.
It took nearly seven seconds for my ball to reach its intended mark. It was glorious the way it arched through the falling snow A picture worth a thousand words. The motion of the snow descending seemed to slow my globe down as a strobe light would to any moving object. I could see the skinny man turn his head from my cry of glee. And just then BAM right between the eyes. My projectile found its home. I then took off running from whence I came in hope that I could not be identified by the other fag still standing.
