Yes, it is a good invention
One of mankind’s best
Useful when expressing primal notions
.....Come this way!
.....Use that spear!
.....Cook this meat!
But for something more
Something above animal emotions and fears
It is so sadly inadequate
.....I felt…
.....I thought…
.....I love you…
Only if we had the ability to understand
Man would no longer stand still
Not doomed to confine in a single mind or soul
.....Imagine a mother’s joy.
.....A poet’s thoughts.
.....A husband’s love.
