A poem about the confusion about finding out you are falling in love.
Love is like a road with no end, a place someone can call home.
It understands the words of the heart, it realises your secret needs.
It encourages, it's visiable, it hurts, it causes tears and pain.
It banishes all fears but needs something in return. A word; a look; a touch can mean so much and yet it wants so much more.
It asks but gives in return. Its fragile and once broken its difficult to repair.
Some thoughts need to be spoken aloud, some dreams need to be dreamt and someones love needs to be shared.
It does not ask for much, but once visible its hard to ignore.
It comes slowly and quietly but hits you hard and makes you never forget its presence.
Its real; its true and it lasts a lifetime.
You never know its there, always by your side guiding you through the day.
You can't run from it nor hide, you can't find an explanation for your actions.
Your heart beats twice as fast, your eyes light up like diamonds, your mind is a total wreck.
You can't understand it all until someone quietly explains that............. you are in Love.
