My 10 min. take on 9/11. Have we learned anything?
The giant laid his head down,
the army rested too.
The King upon His throne,
gazed from the heavens-blue.

His eyes were open and He was wary
of the enemy,
as on the giant slept
and rested with his army.

The enemy took over schools,
and church and even prayer,
they grabbed our kids,
messed with their minds.
They were everywhere.

Thousands of our babies
met their deaths each day,
all because the enemy
did not want them to pray.

The people of the land
kept building and creating,
making lots of money,
and everything-polluting.

They took advantage of everything
the great King had given them,
they even took for granted
that all would go to heaven.

And then one day the enemy
finally found the heart,
they struck it from the sky
and we watched it fall apart.

The hearts of all the people,
trembled as it fell,
two towers full of lives,
how many ended up in hell?

At once the giant awoke,
the army at once assembled,
as on their knees, they fell,
and prayed until they trembled.

The King upon His throne,
shook His mighty head,
"I would have saved all who asked
but now so many are dead!"

What will it take-now
to keep us all in prayer?
Must we endure more heartache?
Perhaps a new nightmare?

I wonder what has happened
to this armys' great attack?
when we rose up with the giant
to take our country back!

Once again we are building
on the same foundations,
while we ignore the King
who gave us this great nation.

Repent! Cry out for mercy
to the King!
For He is kind and just
and over everything!

But if we forget and do not change,
to lift up His mighty name,
He may allow His people,
to be shaken once again!

...then one day, the enemy...
