Escape

I try so hard to escape the darkness
I see the light at the end of the tunnel but the darkness sucks me back in
It is hard for me to catch my breath and to hold my grip
I try so hard to fight just to live another day but the darkness is never far behind me it appears in the corner and it grows closer and closer
I run but become trapped
the darkness surrounds me suddenly it begins to consume my body
I try my best to escape but I give up and close my eyes as I let the darkness take over me then the darkness fades there is light again as I become visible
I rise my eyes black as night and I smile walking away
