A poem about something on someones bed.
Seeing it sit there staring back at me
Intelligent eyes watching for me
Smelling every new smell
Hearing everything
It’s been here for a while but still new to everything
Its green eyes watching for the slightest movement
It’s ears twitching towards the smallest little sound
But it
Just sits there
Waiting for me
Sitting on my bed
Waiting for me
To sleep to wake
She’s greeting me
In the best way
Purring meowing
Comforting
Meows
