Lord. . .

I saw you standing in the middle of the road.

Lord, I walked over to you and as you reached out your open arms to me, I saw my life pass before my eyes.

Lord, you held me close on a cold winter's night.

Lord, you brought peace to my aching heart.

Lord, you mended my soul and stood me up on my own two feet.

And as you held me in your loving arms that night and my life was before my eyes, I realized that through all the pain and heart aches and sorrows, Lord, you were there loving me and helping me.
