The nights are dark
and seas are wide
yet into ever life
another passes by...

When they intersect
in ways so smooth
one wonders why it is now
and not years ago...

Lives are not tangents
nor are they straight lines,
but rather circles
that twist and intertwine...

Time plays no favorites
and distance clouds the way,
but whatever chance has set
we will meet it and survive...
