This poem was written for my x-wife
I look into your eyes
And see the pain I’ve caused.
I’d take it all back.

I’ve never felt a love
Like the one I had with you,
I’ll never know again
A love that is true.
To kiss your precious lips,
And feel your soft touch,
I would die a thousand deaths,
And never would it be enough.
To have your love once more
Is all I could ever want.
To share that gentle smile
The one, I hold so true
Would set my heart at ease
Let my spirit soar with you.
