Our Corrupt Planet

The blue planet we live, a beautiful place,
Flora, fauna, the human race!
Peace and beauty once graced our land,
The human race it seems has a different plan!

Politics, religions abused by greed,
Wars and deaths, what have we come to be?
We wear the burden of man made mistakes,
Global warming, pollution, and toxic waste.

We are killing our planet, this we all know,
When it's all over and dead, where will we go?
Will we head away from this world of waste?
To a far off planet, a beautiful place?

Will we tell of all the mistakes we made?
Will we corrupt our new world in the same old way?
How can we really hold our heads high?
We turn our backs, we blame others, point our fingers and lie!

Come with me; lets all join hands,
Lets tell the world we're making a stand!
You see only we can change our ways,
Think of our children and their future days.
