Although fellow website contestants in the blog contest, listed on our wc community, commented on JUNEBUGS with high compliments ... my standards for my blog provided stimutlation to win. Fabulous remarks came my way. With signs of addiction (which all writers dream of hearing from readers) my mood concentrated. Alas, fifth place remains mine to keep. Amid this winter interim, I watched fellow entrant bloggers who were black cases ... go yellow. However, I received another merit badge from writing.com staff for reviewing.

In Jan -- the same contest went year round. Personally, advise against a year long challenge. Monthly or weekly are easier to carry off especially if via forum posts & prompts from all competing bloggers.

At the time ... DEC's challenge for 2008 was scheduled for 31 days of blogging.

It used to be on PRP, Public Review Page, qualified reviewers were able, allowed and many often made use of typing in their merit badge ID's. This wonderful means of recognition drops from PRP sometime post summer 2006. Things change, technical things ... sure not necessarily wrong, just sad in a way. Maybe like cell phones. Used to be shoppers talked to each other. But we became a society which regulates our conversations these days.

However, the way of the merit badge lives on in other places, of course. We receive merit badges we cannot use seems to me to be a sad, gotcha, sorry. Instead, sometimes on PRP I simply type in "TEFF'S MERIT BADGES" 

So here they are. Thank you. By posting this item, Teff can now refer to these badges. I love every single one of them.
