It's so easy to fake a smile
When all the while
Inside, so deep
Something is lulling you to sleep

There is no difference between
Sleep and death, so serene
So why fake the grin
When you're crying deep within?

The sad side of happiness
Is trying to avoid every mess
It's easier to stay sad,
Expect what's coming, good or bad

Happiness is a struggle, a pain
Because so much can bring rain
Forever there will be sorrowful tears
Happiness comes and goes throughout the years
