Notice
Part 2 of 2 poems

You notice the dark,
You notice the cold,
You notice the emptiness,
And that void.

It's always night,
It's always winter,
No one cares,
So your the only one there.

You notice the couples,
You notice their smiles,
And all their laughs,
So you wonder.

It's always lonely,
It's always bleak,
There's nothing happy,
So you're always sad.

You finally notice,
All the hate,
And all the depression,
You notice the girl to your right or left.

You wonder if she might be willing,
You wonder if she will give that chance,
The one you so despretly need,
You wonder and wonder,
But know it will be another rejection,
The one thing,
That you shouldn't have noticed.
