the song of a blooded moon at the end of time

the sky is pregnant with silent sound
the earth with laden bated breath non found
emerald green crystal fields unfold
STRETCHING frozen, wild and bold
behold the hallow moon climbs high
tainting broNze grey the DARKENED sky
be ware all who walk through this NIGHT
as none know what bathes in crimson light
reaching up to bask in the great full moon
giant redwoods sway to the crickets tune
while the waves of the oceans bow down low
praying in her COPPERY golden glow
the midnight hour does crest
the nocturnal world shows his best
all things that belong to life and death
praise her in one collective breath
TONIGHT she dons shades blood red
her whispers create locks of wed
then blessing the land with her godly light
she remains to guard over this hallow winter's night
for this is the hallow moon
and the end of time is dawning;
dawning soon
