The winter wind is howling
The ground is blanketed white
At home a fire is burning
Beautiful and bright

Tis the Christmas season
There's happiness in the air
Wreaths and trees with ribbons and bows
Can be seen almost everywhere

All my children are singing
A merry holiday tune
For they all know deep in their hearts
That Santa is coming soon

My children have sent their wish lists
To Santa's little elves
Who are busy making Christmas toys
For everyone but themselves

The reindeer have been waiting
For their Christmas Eve flight
They know that Santa depends on them
To fly with all their might

Tis the Christmas season
And I hope we all can share
The joy and love within our hearts
With mankind everywhere
