A girl lost among the shadows I will always be
A girl afraid of tomorrow, that is piteous me
A girl who hides her anger at the bottom of my heart
She played the hand that was dealt her, a false role from the start

We ran through life together, our chaos behind us trailed
The times she was the strongest were the times that I had failed

The war between us rages as I fight to win my place
