The horrible pain of loss
I call for you, you don't call back,
Sitting in this dark, cold room,
Realizing what I've become,
Sad and alone,
The pain sets in.

A black crow sits upon a coffin
In the darkest part of the room,
Voices I hear on the other side,
But the imposing door is locked,
I scream but am not heard.
As I walk towards the coffin
A chill runs up my spine.
I look down,
There you are.
Tears falling from my eyes
like rain drops on a winter's night,
I call for you.
