This poem is about a girl thats anorexic..
Weak.. oh so weak
Her life empty and bleak
She does it to herself, a girl so smart and pretty
Who would have thought she’d want it so despratley
She can’t move, she can’t walk
Her mouth so dry, she can’t talk
She can’t keep her balance, can’t even stand up
And all of this for what?
To be as thin as her, the girl in the magazine
Oh so pretty, oh so lean
Eventually, her legs give up
Pretty girl is out of luck
She falls, falls to the ground
Crying but not making a sound.
Sobbing, she thinks, “Oh, why why why?
Dear Lord, just let me die.”
Die of starvation
Her newest form of liberation
