Broken heart

When you tore my heart
apart on that very day,
I bet you didn't understand
that I couldn't give away,
another person the same feelings
as I had for you,
and as my heart is broken
.....now darkness flows through my veins,
as my heart heals,
which takes oh so very long,
it darkens and trys so hard not to love again,
they who broke my heart,
fills my mind with memories of them,
for ever do they long.
