Sweet little ones so precious and dear
How I love to hold you near
Tenderly whispering words of love
Gentley caressing your skin so soft

Too soon you'll be crawling off my lap
Anxious to take that important first step
Thankful I'll be and my joy will abound
As I watch you discover the world around
But time will pass all to fast
Leaving only memories of the past

For all to soon you'll be grown
Out in the world all on your own
So I'll cherish these times and treasure these prints
For the key they will be to those memories past
Of the little one I once held upon my lap
