I am afraid
I am afraid of what she might be
Her shadow on the ground
The darkness lying down
And I'm afraid of what she might be

I am afraid of who she might be
The colors of her hair
The Devil in her stare
What the eye of troubled souls see

I am afraid of why she might be
The present and the past
All colliding as a mass
And I'm afraid of her being me

I am afraid
