Faded Memory

I cry every night,
For you and me,
Because I know that time will go on,
And all that will be left is a faded memory.

I want to be with you forever,
But what happens when you dont remember me?
There will be nothing left of you and me,
We will drift farther apart instead of being closer together.
We will soon become a faded memory.

Will you still think of me.
When i am no longer remembered by anyone else?
For me to be kept in your heart and not to be forgotten.

People let go and they forget,
The loved ones they had and the people they've met.
We all soon to be forgotten in this world,
To be buried and left in the grave to be,
Nobody wants to be a faded memory.
