About This Newsletter

Hello everyone, I’m Samberine Everose and I'm here, one of the regular editors in the Romance/Love Topic of the WDC Newsletter, and just like I've been saying, I will not be tired in expressing my thankfulness to all the beautiful people here in this wonderful community of writers for not only helping us to improve our writings but giving us also encouragement and inspiration every day.*Smile*

We often ponder how to begin creating a love story, and I believe we can draw inspiration from the four phases of planting rice. Find out here in my newsletter this week.

Love Cultivation

Recently, we celebrated our bountiful harvest with an annual festival that lasted a month. It was a time of reflection on the preparation, beginning, and end of the growing season, filled with hustle and bustle, yet shared happiness throughout our town.
This experience sparked my idea for this week’s newsletter: just as planting rice has its stages, so too does crafting a love story, whether that be in our real or fiction love story.

Four phases in creating a good love story inspired by the planting of rice:

*Tackr* 1. Choosing a Good Soil: Before planting, it's essential to choose high-quality soil to ensure that the seeds we plant won’t spoil. In love, we should first choose the person we truly care for before expressing our feelings, so that our love has the best chance of flourishing.

*Tackr* 2. Sowing/Planting: Like planting seeds, we must understand the importance of sowing with patience, expectation, and hard work. If we are serious about our love, after selecting good soil, it is the right time to plant and nurture our affection.

*Tackr* 3. Watering: We should nurture our love relationship with care, just as we would with a growing plant. Additionally, we must be vigilant and protect our love using 'pesticides'—those things that could potentially harm the relationship. Just like rice, the more we grow together, the more humble we should remain.

*Tackr* 4. Harvesting: Harvesting represents a time when we have matured in our lives and relationships. Although challenges may arise, maturity allows us to withstand them. This is when we truly appreciate the fruits of our labor.

*Tackr* 5. Celebrating: Just as we celebrate our harvest during the annual festival, we should also take time to celebrate with the ones we love.

Like the cycle of sowing, watering, and harvesting the rice, it is like love that we nurture it. God Almighty also plants and sows His love within us, waters it and takes great care of us. Eventually, we will reach a point of maturity where we can celebrate our relationship with Him. All we need to do is remain open and submissive to His guidance.

Write On! *Heart*
