There is a unique sheen on every created works that sometimes the viewer can't see it immediately.

What makes contest to be unique?
Other than isolation in writings, writers also need socialization and challenging tasks to enhance and sharpen their tools in writings.
One of these is through participating in contests and activities in which it is also a way to develop our social aspect as humans and to bring out the character of sportsmanship.
Though before, specially when I was still a newbie, I often join and participate contest and activities but now that I'm going to be teeny here in WDC ( nine years) I am in the mode to just create
I am not saying that maybe my muse left me, so my drive in joining contests were not already in the full gear,
but I don't know,
my mode for now is just creating specially when something is challenging me or an idea is stirring me to experiment it.
Like every author, each one has a unique personality and creative way in their writings, contest and activity also have their own unique branded names and purpose and it always sparkles, especially when the contest or activity is on fire at that moment.
As the creator, we have that goal to infuse until our creation will be established.
Infuse that I am stating here is a method highlighting up of something
Here are some highlighting styles to consider.
1. Highlighting linking to the trendy season.
Each season has its own unique mood, and beauty. We can highlight our contest or activity through linking on them, but not only for the season but we can link what is trendy at this moment.
2. Highlighting through being generous with prizes and giveaways.
This is one that can be a good motivator to each one.
3. Highlighting through its objectives and purpose.
If a contest or activities objectives and purpose can bring out something that may develop in us, why not participate in it.
4. Highlighting through marketing.
Some pay for marketing, but this is also a good highlight.
Adding it to our billboards, portfolio's face, email' tail or on the newsfeed.
5. Highlighting through images.
Images can be eye catchy to anyone, this can also give a good impression and a good hooker.
Contest and activities have their own sheen that sometimes is still hidden, that viewers may not yet still see. As the creator, we can help to enliven it and endorse it to others so that they may see their unique beauty.

Our Question for this week Newsletter:
DO you have your own technique and style to highlights your contest or activities?
Please share it here.
Our Question from "For Authors Newsletter (February 16, 2022)"
Why do you write?
Why? Because it allows me to bleed my feelings out, making room for more.
It's not accurate to say I never hated it, or that I never ran out of words, or quit doing it at times, because passion is like that. Same as when I was learning guitar, there were weeks I was so frustrated with my inability I had considered smashing the instrument to millions of pieces, and didn't even pick it up from the stand, but I went back to it eventually... and Now I'm laughing about it.
Cheers.

Why do I write? because I have to. I need to give the voices that live in my head life. I can't not write. If I don't write, I don't function, To me, it is as natural as eating or abluting. Writing is a part of me that has been there since before I knew how to put pen to paper - my mother taught me to read and write so I stopped dictating stories to her, before I went to school. In my life, I have had 1 consistent - writing.

I write to vent out my feelings and how I perceive the world.

I write because I must, otherwise the ideas and pictures I have in my brain would overflow out my ears or make my head explode in a very messy fashion!

Writing for me is an escape and a catharsis. I've been writing for as long as I can remember. This means ever since I could pick up pen and paper. If I wasn't writing I was drawing pictures that would go with the words I wrote. The poems I write are the emotions flowing out of me. And the stories I write are all my imaginings I can't keep inside.

I write for the same reason I am still alive, because I am in my own world when I write. No one will hurt me in my world. A better question would've been, 'What does writing bring you?'. It brings me the happiness I need. ~Ane

Therapy. Many veterans do. Some draw. I know a Marine veteran who draws very graphic comic books. My writing is mostly worldbuilding with not enough story telling. I think it was Poul Anderson who estimated that for every hour story writing, he spent five or six on background. Based on that, I could write stories for several decades. Worldbuilding is addictive.
