Searching for a Soulmate

The word soulmate gives an 'endearment thought to me,
in where it refers to the one whom each one will be destined,
the right person for us-
The mate of our soul.

I'm always intrigued to know about it, when I was still a teenager, I often liked to ask God who is my soulmate?
What does he look? Is he tall? Is he gorgeous?

But when I graduated of 'infatuation and became serious about working and found a 'family', well those romantic thoughts about à soulmate evanescent.

I also assume that if soulmate is the half of our soul, then there are qualities that we may have in common,
or qualities that you don't have but if you both combine them with your soulmate's qualities it will make you both become a whole.

We can reflect soulmates from different famous books like Romeo and Juliet, Anthony and Cleopatra, Florante and Laura. In the Holy Scripture my favorites are Isaac and Rebekah, Ruth and Boaz, and Mary and Joseph, we can also find on those all time favorite Walt Disney fairy tales.

There is a verse also in the Holy Scripture that reflects soulmate- that each person has its own soulmate.

And from the rib that the LORD God had taken from the man, He made a woman and brought her to him. ~ Genesis 2:22

Soulmate is good because when you find that right person, we may not expect the 'end, but rather it will be forever, though conflicts may be multiple and even millions but soulmates can withstand it..

They've said that the heart can distinguish its mate?
Is this possible?

Maybe if we have some thought or clues to the definition of a soulmate.
Here are some thoughts to consider to define a soul mate.

*TackB* 1. It will be defined by each one's qualities.
Physical attraction is good but this will not define soulmate, it is more certain if we may fall in love to the qualities of the unseen aspects than the physical aspects that we see through our eyes.

*TackB* 2. It will be defined by time.
Soulmates will be defined by time because of the sense of development that brings maturity of each one.

*Tackb* 3. It will define of each one's growth as a person.
Each one can learn with each own soulmate because each one has the key - a natural key that will help us to bring out the best in each of us.

*Tackb* 4. It will be defined through conflicts.
Conflicts are a good ingredient that inject strength to soulmate relationships, because conflicts help to enhance and bring out the strength that withstand them till the end.

There are many stories about a great romance story that reflects soulmate,
that an author can create it so wonderfully, and even a real true to life story of a couple stating their foreverness.

But we should also remember that there is only one Who is the true lover of our soul.

Our real soul Mate.(Isaiah 54:5)

That even if we are not qualified because of our flaws, but because of His great Love for us(John 3:16).
He did everything even sacrificing His Self and willfully embraced death on the cross so that we may not perish and that 'we may become His bride forever. *Heart*

Ask & Answer

Our Question for this week Newsletter:
What's your thoughts about Soulmate?, Do you believe on it?

Our Question from "Romance/Love Newsletter (September 15, 2021)Open in new Window.
How do we measure a good Love story?Short or long story which one is good?

"Short lengthy story or sentence" - Whoops! Oxymoron.
Graywriter

I think you're right. Length matters. But I think that the book length should be gauged to the convenience of the reader and not create a huge tome that will take long hours to read. I think publishers know how to do that. But I'm not a sponsored writer by a publishing firm so I can't truly say what they want from an author. The author will have to comply with the publisher's wishes.

Clues can also be used in more than stories and books. I hope most of my poetry tells stories and remembering your 5 tips can help also when reviewing.
