Hello, SandraLynn,

Here is a review for your "AUTOCORRECT IS SO ANNOYINGOpen in new Window..

Comments and Observations:

OMG! Do I agree with you or what! I'm especially annoyed with FB's Messenger that corrects stuff or deletes words on its own. I'm, therefore, emotionally connected to your poem. *Laugh*

Anyhow, this poem is such fun for being so clever and chaotic at the same time, which perfectly captures our frustration. I love the subject matter and the playfulness with which you have written about your frustration. The tone of the poem is humorous and lighthearted while it shows the futility of fighting autocorrect.

Such creative wordplay, also! I think your repeated interruptions and misinterpretation of words, plus the off-hand but lively rhythm mirrors your struggles perfectly. Added to this, is the structure of the poem in abrupt stops, interruptions, and enjambment. All these have bared the theme for this reader's eyes.

And, I have to say, the last lines made me laugh out loud.

I really can't think of any solid suggestions for improvement, but just maybe, breaking the longer lines for a more balanced structure might mean a tiny bit of improvement.

To wrap it up, this poem is hilarious, entertaining, and very relatable, at least for me. I truly loved the "stumble and fumble" in it. *Smile*

Suggestions on the text as to grammar, usage, and punctuation

I didn't see any real problems in this area.

Except, I'm not sure, but in these words, you say, "my words are ajumble." Technically that last word should be " a jumble"; however, if you did this intentionally, you may choose to leave it as it is.

Best wishes with your work.
