Rainbow Pride - honestly, not everyone likes the concept, especially when it's bombarded in their face for a month, or they've encountered someone who is a little too "Holier than Thou" that is also the sort that likes to harshly punish folks that make mistakes (I, myself, fell victim to one such person who used a comment I said by accident to label me a bigot, and used it as justification to kick me out of a group I'd been part of for ten+ years, as they just hated me on a personal level - ironically, I happen to write a lot of LGBT-friendly material. Thankfully, I have folks that I could talk to to help me through it - I ain't a bigot, I just simply ran into a jerk with an agenda against me), and thus just hate certain things as a result. The trick in such matters, is knowing how to educate folks in such a manner to not come off as preachy. I'd rather know why something is seen as wrong, so that I personally know why I don't want make that mistake again (not easy when one has Autism or something similar), instead of being simply told - "Jay found that joke offensive" - I'd want to know why Jay found it offensive, so that I can apologize to them, and actually mean it, instead of giving them a fake apology that barely amounts to lip service. Overall, good poem. Thoughts An interesting poem to read. Spelling and Grammar I don't see any issues with spelling or grammar, but some of the Chorus lines in the second part aren't lined up right, and a few other lines could use a check or two. Well, this is the BIG BAD WOLF, and I howl at the moon every night. HOWLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
