You engaged my senses and emotions as I read this nature poem of yours. It was like I could hear the rain falling in the various ways you described it as I read your poem.

I hope it placed as a winner in the contest in which you entered it. It looks like the contest isn't running anymore so I can't tell if it did or not. It reads like a winner to me though.

I loved your rhyming and that you found so many ways to describe a rainstorm and that they all felt true to life. Your rhyming felt natural and your poem flowed nicely with a soothing rhythm.

This line was my favorite: "It’s the only sound that matters;" though I'm not sure why.

I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your nature poem.


IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR PIECE STRONGER:
I would love to have something great to share here, but I think it's wonderful as it is. Well done!

The only suggestion I have would be, doesn't have to do with your poem. It's just that invalid item being at the top. If you happen to remember it, to either remove the contest information or tell us what the name was maybe. Or move it below your poem. The poem's the best part of the piece anyway.
