| (5.0)   Greetings, Ms. TerrifyingTuber! I am reviewing this because I am part of "I Write in 2024" and you have posted previous to me.  First of all, my reviews are intended to be helpful and encouraging, not hurtful in any way. Use what you feel works for you, and leave the rest. The Positives/What I Liked At first, I thought this was a true account.  I've visited Texas several times and have seen a few feral pigs dead along the road. I've also been through Amarillo, Texas several times while traveling. So anyway, I happened to glance at your genres and noted that this piece is Horror/Scary. No hint that it is true! And yes, I then noticed Fiction. Whew, right?  (I really need to check the genres before reading things.) I pretty much assumed that when I read your last line of the feral pig biting chunks out of you, that it wasn't true. That's when I checked the genres.  You definitely hooked me! Can you tell? You pull the reader in right away with the beginning lines...Pigs had always seemed so sweet and innocent to me. Then I went camping just outside Amarillo, Texas. Great visuals/imagery. Suggestions/Comments to ConsiderI didn't really notice anything, other than you might want to add a word count. Final ThoughtsI wonder if you've every had a confrontation with a feral pig?
