Hi Choconut ![]() This review is a part of "Game of Thrones" ![]() ![]() Overall Impression: There is a reason why this event is on round 131 and still drawing participants. It's an extremely well-managed contest. I think it's fair to say that it is the contest for people who write free verse poetry. Winning it is a real honour. I've only been experimenting with free verse poetry for a short while. I got to know some people on the site who enjoy it, and thought I'd give it a shot. As someone who was used to writing form poetry it wasn't easy to find my own rhythm and flow, but it's been fun, and eventually I dared to participate in this contest and try my skills against those who are far more experienced. Most rounds I do not place, but that's okay. I learn from reading the works of others. I have had some successes, though, and I am genuinely thrilled when I do. It means that I am getting somewhere. The page is well-organised. Everything is clear and well-explained. You can win exclusive badges, which is nice. All in all, Shadows and Light is a real asset to Writing.Com. Suggestions: I have no suggestions, sorry. As mentioned above, this is an excellent contest. Everything is clear and easy to follow. Well done! My Rating: As you can no doubt tell, I love this event. I'd highly recommend it to any poet. I had no suggestions. Therefore, I will give this item the 5 out of 5 it deserves. Thank you for sharing your work. Write on!
