Game of Thrones"

Hello fellow writer. My name is Sandra. I am one of the sly foxes.
title: Lighthouses at Sunset
First Impression: Okay, this is a specific contest. I never imagined there would be a contest aimed specifically at lighthouses. I have never thought about them I suppose because they do not exist where I live. I live inland and nowhere near a coast. Then I scrolled past the title and the photo introduction to read about writing wherever. Write poetry about how your surroundings make you feel. The one prompt left up refers to being in a lighthouse. as I stated I have never had this experience.
What needs your improvement: I admit to being slightly confused. You begin by stating this is a poetry contest and you reiterate this with the parameters in the rules. In the welcome message posted below the contest criteria you mention short stories, but there are nor rules for them. Some months they were permitted? Other than that, I see no issues to suggest changes. I have never hosted a contest.
What I liked best: You encourage writers to explore and express their emotions. The stated rules for poetry are not difficult to understand. You spell out the expectations. I liked that you included a welcome message. This personalizes this challenge and enhances encouragement. As of this reading I see no other prompts, so I cannot speak as to them. You considerately include a link that explains how to enter and post in a contest. For newbies this could be invaluable. The reward incentive seems generous.
Overall Impression: This appears to be a unique and intriguing challenge. One more opportunity for the writers of poetry to showcase their work. Thank you for allowing me to read your work. It has been my pleasure.
