Date Night with El Presidente [13+] Date night doesn't go as planned for this greasy dictator. |
A "Game of Thrones" by Gaby Review Storyline: Catalina and Benicio are enjoying a late night together. Catalina is tipsy, and Benicio is all too eager to have his way with his lover. Catalina tells him how boring his friends are and that he sounds like a dictator when he tries to explain that discussing military strategy and economics are not boring topics of conversation, though Catalina doesn't buy that. Spelling/Grammar Issues: Description/emotion: You painted the scene of these two well. I could picture Catalina laying on the chaise lounge, the hiccup, sipping on the wine as Benicio did his best to put her in the mood, though the conversation tended to interrupt his pursuit. When Maria barges in, it's all over for Benicio. He moves from shock to anger quickly, and who could blame him? Overall Impression: How lucky Maria was to wind up with a migraine on that fateful day that put her in a different seat than her intended one. I wondered if Benicio tried to do away with his wife, which was the reason for her revenge plot. Learning that Catalina wasn't who she claimed to be was a surprise. I enjoy surprise endings. I did figure out that she had partnered up with Maria, but not their actual connection.
