  This is a "Game of Thrones"  review!Hello, Lornda!  Overall Impression:This story skillfully blends elements of psychological thriller and drama, drawing the reader into the depths of the protagonist’s troubled psyche. Title and Description: Mirror, Mirror is an excellent title. The lack of description comes from the book format, so there's no room to create an enticing blurb, which is unfortunate. It's a good story, and more people should see it. Hook and plot:The story hooks the reader from the beginning with vivid descriptions and relatable settings, then gradually layers tension and mystery. The plot is well-paced, with the initial casual date scenario slowly unraveling to expose the dark undercurrents of Carla’s mental state. The twist at the end is both shocking and effectively set up, providing a dramatic closure that leaves a lasting impact. Characters and dialogue:Carla is portrayed with complex depth, making her a fascinating (albeit unsettling) protagonist. Her interactions with Leo are layered, displaying a surface normalcy that belies the turmoil underneath. The dialogue between them is natural and effective, subtly hinting at deeper themes of perception and reality. Grammar and Mechanics:The narrative is well-constructed and logical, with clear, concise language that enhances the story’s readability and impact. The mechanics of the story, including grammar and punctuation, are polished, allowing for a smooth flow of events and dialogue without distracting errors. (This is not something I can say about my own GoT writings. Eesh, it's so bad.) Final Thoughts:"Mirror Mirror" is a powerful exploration of self-perception and the destructive potential of internalized negativity, making for a compelling read.
