Hello lighthouses.37! This review is given on behalf of "Game of ThronesOpen in new Window..

*Reading* Hi! I remember this contest. It's a great idea for a contest. I do wonder though, up top of the page you state it will be a monthly contest, and then further down, you have every other month listed, with Poetry beside it. Were the other months open for short stories? If so, you may want to put that. If it was only opened every other month then correct that up top.

You have good rules, and clearly state what you expect out of the entries.

I love the concept of this contest. A feel-good contest is always nice. I wish you would consider reopening. If not every other month, then maybe just about three times a year. That way it won't be so overwhelming, but the contest will be made available to those of us who wish to enter.

Your prizes are generous. I also like the merit badges accompanied with winning. Do you make them available anywhere else in your portfolio? If so, it would be nice to know where so we know how we may be able to earn them. *Smile*

In the rules, you state that the poems are supposed to be sixty lines. Do you mean they have to be sixty lines or a maximum of sixty lines? Sixty lines is quite a long poem.

I look forward to going back and reading some of the entries.

Thank you so much for sharing this contest with us. I do hope you plan on reopening.
I enjoyed looking it over.
