Hi dragonwoman - This is a "Game of Thrones" review. The views and opinions on this review are mainly the things discovered by the reader and therefore, do not reflect necessarily to the group, activity, and/or event being affiliated herein. This is only the opinions and suggestions of the reviewer and it is still up to the author of this piece to consider this review as a corrective action or otherwise. The reason I chose this particular story/poem: I chose this particular piece because of the description. Combining the names of the two most well-known detectives on the planet was a stroke of genius and a great attention grabber. So now we have Sherlock Watson and John Holmes. My opinion of said story/poem: I enjoyed reading this little piece. The story stayed true to the original characters of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. There were no spelling errors that I could find, making it a pleasure to read. In the short span of time allotted, the characters spend time in three different environments with seamless transition and total believability. It was also nice to see Inspector Lestrade make an appearance. Just another link to the original that helped to pull everything together. Conclusion: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, in my opinion, received one of the highest honors a writer can receive when the fans demanded he bring Sherlock Holmes back to life. There is no higher reward than having such a loyal following for a fictional character, so much so, that they will not allow you to get rid of this figment in any way. I enjoyed your imaginative take on the prompt as well as your attention to detail. It's those little details that ultimately bring a story together, no matter the size. Well done! Write on!
